More Fizz Less Pop Part 3
That makes it sound like im damning your children lol
I'm not of course it was just such a powerful episode it has stayed with me.
It was about how a cute little lad became a really bad person and how it affected the parents.
I am glad I am not a parent lol

I think its probably being a parent that has stopped me from drinking myself to death Ally.
I often get a bit blown away with the responsability of it all though.
Wee lad seems fine about tomorrow which is good cos me and the wife are nervous enough for him.
Keep checking his bag to make sure we've packed everything for him.

Actually it's not til tomorrow. Dee just said it was my birthday 'down under' cause they're a day ahead of us. So far, so good. The kids left me a sinkful/kitchen full of dirty dishes so I know they need me still, even at their age. I am touched by their kindness, of course, and washed them right up. Can't leave a birthday gift just sitting there without unwrapping it, now can I? What was even better was that they'd left me little 'presents' in their rooms and all over the house, so that must mean they really love me a lot. I"m touched... really I am... sniff...:rotfxko
my dogs are too well behaved to leave me little "poopy presents" tho the beagirl sometimes pees on the floor as she's old and can't hold her bladder as well as she used to. I never yell at her or punish her tho, she can't help it. The kids CAN help leaving their messes, they just don't care...
I wuz just kidding least - sorry you're hung up about the kids.
I know you've heard this before - but if you keep cleaning up for them, and doing stuff for them, they have no reason to change.......

I am SO aware of that fact. problem is, I have to walk thru it or eat off it or otherwise navigate thru the mess. So it always falls to me to clean it up. I've taken their stuff and thrown in in trash bags and put it in their rooms... that usually gets results... you can hear the screams a mile away!! But at least the sh!t isn't in my way...
Once I "forgot" and threw their stuff in the trash... oh well... lots of nice clothes in the landfill that week...

Dk goes back to school next monday. Ck goes back to college in a week or so. I can't wait for her to leave. I just ordered some prime rib take out for my birthday dinner. I'll bring it home and eat it in my den by myself, since the kids don't seem to realize today is my birthday.
