Rowan I find working with the earth with the weeds and flowers very good spiritually.
For example to plant an ugly brown bulb in autumn and have it bloom into a beautiful flower in spring. Always does me good. Reminds me of my recovery and how we must give time time I do my best conscience contact out there.

It's been a busy day - got a lot done - but the kids have been nagging me and getting on my nerves all day. Not doing a meeting tonight cause I have a very bad headache and am just staying home and taking it easy. I was running around 'doing' all damn day and I just want to stay home now.

The kids REALLY are getting on my nerves!!! Questioning everything I do or say and always giving me unwanted advice.


Oh yeah, 40 is NOT old. I'm about to turn 58... so 40 is very young to my mind...



Oh yeah... now ck is trying to wiggle out of her promise to care for my dogs (for the sum equal to four months of her cell bill) cause she wants to go camping with her friends... I have no other way/people to care for them in my absence so if she finks out on me I'll be really angry...

Just got in from new meeting. It was read paragraph from BB then share on it, first time at this kind of meeting and it was refreshing. Read of all things, THE MAN WHO FACED FEAR!! I actually laughed to myself, okay HP I know this was your doing, all day I talked of fear of things, how I was learning to face up to my fears and here I get to meeting and had to share of facing fear. Way to go HP.

Good to see everyone well today for the most part.

I read something in Rust's Gentle Art thread yesterday about recognizing gifts

when we get them.

Today, HP gave me some. Yesterday I had the whiniest attitude..let go (sort of)

on the cabbie who made me wait. It was 114 here...self pity to the nth degree.

Today, I said I would change my thinking...and my attitude as I had to go out again.

Cabbie picked me up, waited for me at the bank...didn't charge me extra..but I paid him

anyway so he could keep it. Grateful!

At the next stop..the drugstore worked with me to lower the cost of my bipolar med.

Then, calling a cab outside...a room friend walked up and offered a ride home.

I don't think it was my attitude that changed things...but, HP had a hand.

And maybe I needed a little lesson. I did recognize the gifts I received today,

even though it was only 113.... lol.

And...I don't think it's so weird..praying in a field. Not at all..I would more likely

sit on a rock...or walk around joyously like the woman in the Sound of Music.

Everyone is different...as long as they don't push their religious aspects onto

the other members. To each his own...

IO read your post, its amazing how when we think and act in a positive way ALL positive things happen for us. We can CHOOSE how we are going to feel today and here we go again with that rippling effect, I know for myself when I choose to be negative in my thoughts I am guaranteed a day from hell, and a positive day somehow brings blessings my way because I have gratitude. IO I'm glad you turned your day around and saw such positive results in doing so. Damn this program really does work if you work it.

Hey Be. I just went to that site and uploaded pics and added music. I am glad you liked it. I really enjoyed doing it. Maybe some people at the bday party will see it and want one and I can do it for them. For a small fee of course.

I can't sleep either. I hate that. I rarely have problems sleeping. Maybe I had too much caffeine. I dunno.

Oh I'm so happy to see you Tanya So how do you get those special effects? And how do you get it off computer after done and put on a dvd or something? Please do share with me.

All the effects come off of that site One True Media. When it's done you just burn a DVD on the computer and then it can be played on any DVD player. I haven't actually burned one yet but I am pretty sure that is the way it works.

I didn't realize you were in NJ Be, I have an AA friend from there. She lived here for a while but she is back there now.

I'm going to try and go to sleep I think

My handy dandy new iPhone is messing up so I have to take it in for service tomorrow.

My daughter hated hers, said she couldn't get insurance on it, and it kept messing up and when it did, she lost all her numbers and had to manually put them back in She uses a blackberry now, me nothing fancy LG

I scanned the pics on my PC with a scanner/printer. Easy as making a copy.

I'm not sure what part of Jersey she is in. I keep hounding her to get a FB but she hasn't yet. She is in the military there. But she missed Texas and wants to come back.

I LOVE my iphone. this is my 2nd one. The voicemail isn't working right so I'm going to get a new one. It is still under warranty. I'm sorry she doesn't like her. That bites. My husband just got one too and so far he likes it. It is nice for me to be able to do internet things while I am working on the river in the summer.

How much you think I could charge to make a video montage like that one? I don't really know but I'm thinking some of the older folks at my dad in laws birthday party might want one.
