Back to men. I believe with all my heart there are good men in this world. I don't
think I ever thought I deserved a great one. I do now..I used to think good men were
boring. Not anymore. I see now a deep truth I have overlooked all my life...

RustyMorning folks, boy am I glad I signed off when the three of you started talking men & love, they are not in my vocabulary anymore
Got my favorite meeting today with my Greeting committment. Yesterday is gone, today is here and its a beautiful day. Bring it on !!!!!

What a difference a good night's sleep makes. Slept well and woke up feeling ok. Of course it always helps to snuggle with my doggies. Looks like it's going to be a nice day here. Well time to give the dogs their breakfast, then a walk before it gets too hot. Back later.

Good morning everyone and oh how busy you little bees have all been.
I am just back from a meeting. I have a busy day with visitors just about to arrive. One of my sponsees (4 months sober) is starting to feel and look really good. Tells me her life was never better and SO she was too busy to get any meetings this week!!
All I can say to that is ...watch this space!!
I have told her but alas .....self will......just like foxy!!
Rowan I have been thinking about you a lot lately and I hope you are feeling better. Something that keeps popping into my head is the leaflet in the aa starter pack........you know that grey one......now that you've stopped the 12 tips....basic stuff.... but I often have to get back to basics when I feel low.
12. in times of difficulty when you can't get the help, the Serenity Prayer said to your God as you understand him will bring you sufficient confidence to cope. He is always available
Hi Stone glad about results. IO....your always full of chat when I am off line..I hope you and your mam are well and that you get that healthy relationship in your Gods time.

Took the dogs for a nice walk in the cool morning air. We enjoyed it, as we always do, and I get such pleasure from watching them enjoying their 'dogginess', sniffing and such. They are a good reason to stay sober for myself so I can give them the best possible life and good care. That means so much to me, since my dogs are a huge part of my life.
Having a quiet morning, with ck still sleeping and dk at a friend's house. Am enjoying my solitude.:ghug2

Once again, I missed the "night novel". Bummer. I would have liked to have joined in the men discussion. It's a good thing you're here Stoney, to keep us ladies in check!

Nothing like being the only rep for half the species, huh? I took my Dad for a sausage buttie and cup of coffee this morning, pretty sure the alzheimers is getting worse. Then I came home and finally got some sleep.
