Stoney....it is obvious by the posts here that members have tried to contact you.

And obviously, you haven't responded. I don't think it's a matter of ego or anger

from the members at this point. But I can only speak for myself...

They have been supportive since Day 1 as far as I have seen..most, probably more

than I have. And I consider myself a dear friend. It just plain hurts I guess, for me

anyway. Frankly, it's rude Stoney, unless you are away or sick.

I have no idea what happened as far as sobriety goes. I don't know if you are drinking

..or just taking a break. Take care of yourself until you come back.

And come back soon.

You know Stoney, I have allowed myself to get so caught up in this again and its only because I care, and damn it you know that. I have come to care so much about you, you are my friend. I'm glad someone has heard from you, I am glad you are okay. Hopefully I will hear from you soon.

Sis, I don't see myself as 'bailing' here - just self-preserving. As you know, we have been through this so many times and when we are as close to Stone as we are, I find it difficult to detach time and again.

I just don't know what to do anymore. I don't want to get close to him.

Lets make this quite clear in case anyone is getting the wrong idea here. Stone started this thread for his own recovery. It is Stones thread and remains stones thread. If Stone returns to this thread, we will all still be here to give him our thoughts and /or support. Meanwhile some of us have developed relationships from this thread (thank you stone) and want to continue discussing our own recovery, without highjacking this thread while there is no Stone. Simple as. Stone may be sick, Stone may be in the emergency room in hospital, stone may be drunk......but we have no way of knowing. We care and we wait to hear.........we are all praying for stone.
