Fell asleep at 8pm I think, just woke at 4.30am...slightly weird time to wake up but not too bad, I am happy I got a solid 8 hours anyway.

I am looking at the grass......it is quite sunny, I had better cut it today.

Feeling pretty good today.....I have been up since 4am trying to install XP on my laptop, it isn't working! I am using pirated copies and they are all getting caught out.

Back to using Vista, at least it is legitimate.

I will dual-boot it with Ubuntu when the new version comes out.....

Morning Stone. I'm going to that nice spa again this morning. My gf is getting married so - this is the beginning of her bachelorette party - I'm heading up with her and her sister. Then it's out for sushi for dinner then out to a club/lounge tonight. A couple of us in recovery will be there, all the others are drinkers. Me and my gf are gonna wait for them to get lit then we are going down the street to crash the sober dance!
It looks like it's going to be a beautiful day here. Here's to another sober day everyone.

Where is my sun it's grey and cold up here.

I woke up this morning craving like mad, so I went back to bed and have restarted the day, I'm feeling a bit better.

I think the cravings have come from being around my sisters and their children, neither of them are drinkers so it isn't that, but they seem (despite their own problems) to be so happy and settled in their lives, they have achieved so much and I can't help but be jealous.

That might make me a bad person but I can cope with that

Oh well I won't drink today.

That's a nice day you have planned there Ro. That spar looks wonderful.

Porty. I hope the cravings go soon.

I had better get started on the grass.

I need to mow my lawn today too, if I can borrow my neighbor's mower. Yesterday I had enough energy and ambition to clean out my garden so the flowers can get some sunlight that wasn't getting thru the leaves and debris. Now it can get started growing. If I hadn't been sober I wouldn't have felt good enough to clean it out. Being sober rocks!

Morning Stoney!

OMG that grass was long! I had to tilt up the mower and place it down to do it, it was too long to just push the mower, the grass just bent and cos it wasn't fully dry it stayed bent.
Lovely day here still, it makes a difference. The weather was suicidal a few weeks ago.

Roast beef for tea, a bath later and hopefully an early night.

It's cloudy and grey here also. Yucky looking outside. We have had some beautiful spring day so I will just be grateful that we had those and hope they come back soon.

Went to a woman's meeting this morning. It was actually pretty good. I'm not big on all girl meetings.

Now I am home alone. Hubby is at an all day stock market class. Actually he will be there all weekend and next week.

I think I'm just gonna chill today.

Glad your sober Stoney! I will be sober with you today

I am seriously glad to be sober today and not feel the need to drink over every imagined slight or rejection or whatever. In the old days I would get drunk over 'things' and end up feeling bad myself. LIke drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die... Glad those days are behind me!

Yea, that film does sound disturbing. I haven't seen it and won't be, Angelina's lips freak me out too much. Not as bad as Julia Roberts though! She has two bottom lips, one on the top and one on the bottom. No "cupids bow" at all!

Slept from 9pm till 5.30am, yes! I woke up smiling.

Weather doesn't look good so far but it is too early to tell for sure.

Why is SR so quiet on weekends? Does everyone go and get drunk or what? LOL
