Pixy it would take a hurricane size wind to blow me over!

I know what you mean about the napping its not good for me to keep doing it, but hey self control isn't my strong point.

My brain is trying to tell me I'm bored and unhappy but I'm just not letting it go there, I've just downloaded the new series of House so that should keep me busy for a couple of days at least.

Apart from that I am cleaning , reading, watching TV and playing games.

And coming on SR!

I may not be able to stay sober for life but it is not going to be a bit of boredom that sends me over the edge.

I'm so tired this afternoon, I could sleep for England.

Just been for a nice drive with the kids along the coast. It was too cold for ice cream so we had some chips with lost of salt and vinigar

Have LB and Fizzy left SR?

Exactly Alley (hug)

you know...i have to remember...90% of the stuff I think about drinking over is just plain ridiculus from the get go....the rest of the stuff ... well, it becomes clearly a silly idea after a little bit of thinking.

So Alley...you had an exciting fun filled life when you were drinking????? mmmmmmm..... mine was pretty miserable most of the time there at the end.

Glad you have spoken to Nands she seemed to have gone from planet earth

LB is out on her Pony I expect.

I saw Fizzys post, it was heart warming.

Talking of ponies, If I can't find somewhere cheaper to keep her I have to sell her

My partner and I are splitting up so I have to count every penny now

Im really sorry to hear about the pony (and your relationship of course).

There never is a right time for stuff like that to happen.

I hope you manage to fine somewhere cheaper for her.

If you ever need to chat PM me (although I know nothing about ponies and even less about relationships) take care of yourself. :ghug2

Hi y'all (been visiting the south)! Just a quick check-in... I'm in the DC at the moment and having a great time aside from being exhausted from so much walking! The thing that keeps me going is that I need to lose about 15 pounds anyway, no matter how much my feet hurt. Tomorrow is my last day here, then I head home.

Pixy! You're breaking up? I'm sorry

Sorry to hear your problems Pixy.

Just a thought, I'm probably out of order saying this but it doesn't normally stop me !!!

Could being single for a while be just what you need to get a good length of sobriety behind you. Not the same pressure to be going out ?

Ally, I know you support Middlesborough, do you live near there too ?

I was just listening to some bloke from Middlesboro being interviewed on 5live, he was in some band or other and supported them, didn't catch his name.

Anyway, he was telling a story about how you have CCTV camera's there that shout at you if you do something wrong. They have speakers attached and if the people monitering see anything they can shout at you, like " would the person in the blue shirt please pick up that crisp packet he just dropped ".

That sounds cool, if its true ?

Fizzy I think you are right and have thought that myself.

Not only will I not eat out as much, I have no one to fall back on with the children. My partner hardly drank so I always knew I had him to take care of everything.

The last few days have been very productive. I have got lots done and I'm really focused

Whats everyones plans for the Easter weekend ?

Lol Fizzy it is true, I've yet to hear anyone being shouted at but I know I'm extra specially careful not to drop litter in that area of town, not that I make a habit of dropping litter!

For some reason we seem to have more CCTV in boro than in the rest of the country combined, it does seem to work though, no more agressive begging or gangs of drunks harrasing passers by, they have just moved away from the town centre, lol, but at least you can shop in peace.

Don't mention the footy if we get beat by Hull today then it is all over, its probably all over anyway but we still have a mathematical chance!
