ok..i'm posting this cause i think it is a huge tool to dealing with things sober.....

Chris and mom have left for 10days to 2 weeks...i will be alone...no one in my mind that will be effected if i were to drink...

Now thats a big fat lie and i know it...but what it feels like is like i'm suddenly free ..... maybe a little too free....

got butterflies in my tummy..sorta that feeling you get on the last day of school, first day of spring, or when you fall in love....

I really think it's cause i hve only been in this position once before in sobriety of being without anyone around but me. So i'm not use to dealing with it.

I don't feel in danger, but i know if i fed th feelings and little thoughts i can get there, and posting about it is a way to short circut the crazy thoughts that precede the first drink.

Thanks for listening and yes i will be checking in when i get off work

Yeah Dee, melodramatic is perfect for nands! She is American, after all.

Now THAT is a melodramatic smiley.

Speaking of this great nation, why has Sarah Palin been on my TV all day?

I've just got back from babysitting (someone trusts me with their child lol) and I'm feeling fairly content.

Had a bit of a temper tantrum ealier because I haven't done my goals for today, then I slapped myself around a bit and got over it.

I didn't do them because I had to do something else, so I'm ok with it.

Hope you are all doing well too and I get to talk to you soon. x

Sounds like you're keeping yourself busy Pix! Is the fireplace for the newly remodeled house?

There seems to be a child theme here today... Pix going to her son's presentation, nands nurturing her inner child, ally doing some babysitting. Wonder what it all means.

I chose a contractor to install my central AC! No more sweating through the summer nights for me! They install on the 26th. I can't wait.

Saturday I'm having my family over, including my adorable little niece. She's 7 months old now! I'm unduly excited about hosting everyone for pizza. Hopefully I won't be derailed by some stupid family dysfunction.

Morning :ghug

Leaving in a few min to my sons presentation.

My ex husband to be is here, it amazes me how you can be married to someone for 12yrs and they are complete strangers.

Back soon x

Have a great day Pixy and don't let the ex get you down

Hey CG I get excited about pizza all the time (no I don't have much of a life) and a family gathering, no matter how casual, is a good reason to be happy, I hope it all goes well.

Nands I told you to send that inner child to her room, we need you checking in every day.

And where are Dee and Jason, we need a token male presence and you two are nominated as it so do not up and disappear.

You might be able to tell I'm feeling bossy today, watch out world

CG....love your signature!!!!!

Did he really say that????? My god he was actually talking sense!!!!!

my innerchild has been nurtured and matured...she is now a teenager and has discovered boys

things could get traumatic soon.....can you say drama queen!

I'm deffinately locking her in her room for the duration

I'm alittle lonely without Chris around...though it makes no since....i mean we would only talk for about 10 minites a day...he mostly wasn't even in the same room....

Pix...i havent seen my ex since the divorce 30 years ago...but my son has told me he really hasn't changed, and i really like his new wife.....she's chris's "other mom" and we hit it off from the get go

I think I'm going to have a nap before the school fait as it doesn't start until 5
