Good morning all.
Well I finally got out of my cage and went to the movies last night to see I love you man.
It was very funny and well worth it.
This is a small step in the right direction to finding new interests. Very small actually as the theater is in the building and it is right beside the bar, which we didn't go to after the movie was over. No beer and no Obvious Sweets for me just popcorn and diet Coke.
Now I have to win the free poker game for $150 today to top of the weekend.
See you all in class tomorrow.

Great to see you Summer, pop in and say hi more!! Glad to hear you are doing well!!!

I have a snow day today......seriously! That's the first time since I was in school as a kid! HA! Bad part is, no pay.........

Hey the World Vision thing at my church was incredible. I handed out IPods for people to use as they walked through the experience......people were really moved and alot of children were sponsored...I was honored to be a part of it.

Hope everyone had a strong weekend. How 'bout them Huskies?! Men and women both advance.......woo hoo!

Good morning all.
I gotta go to the dentist today which is pretty much my least favorite thing in the world to do.

Glad to see you again Summer. Don't be such a stranger.

Good morning all. I've been absent for a few days but wanted to check in and report that all is well. I hope everyone had a nice weekend.

I'm finding that after almost 2 months sobriety that I am not so tired as I was and am a lot more motivated to do things. So I've been catching up on stuff that was left undone for far too long. Feels good.

Have a good one,

YD

A Sugar Glider? That thing is cool. Is it nocturnal?

I had a dream last night that I was drinking some wine. I was thinking about my liver in the dream, wondering if I had given it a long enough break to be doing that.......weird.

Welcome back Mr. Massey.......
Hey Duck, I am feeling the same with the energy thing......it took a very long time but I am not exhausted all the time. I can fall asleep so easy at night....it's strange, that's probably how normal people are! LOL........I wonder what all our bodies are thinking with all this.......hey Fub..........can I suggest an assignment?? Here goes:

What do you think your body would say to you right now if it could?

I think mine would say, "See? I told you you could do it. And thank God you did it when I sent you those pangs in your liver. So keep giving me this time to repair, I mean it."

My body says "really glad you quit making me process all that wine every day - and by the way maybe a little less caffeine would be good...".

Good morning all :ghug

Nice seeing you back YD

Hope you enjoy the snow day VC!

Sorry about that dentist thing Fub - I am with you on the yuck factor.. Why would anyone want to become a dentist?

My body is telling me to get on the treadmill. But my brain is winning that fight.

I am back from the Dentist and on a cloud.
I had to come right back here as finishing at the Dentist is a huge trigger for me. I am usually so glad it is over I have to have a pint or 10.
Instead I am using all that pent up energy to post here so if you are short on energy today just rub this post and there will be tons.
I gotta remember to read my posts back before I post right now or aI might get myself into trouble.
Dentist wasn't bad at all. two fillings, no freezing and in and out in under 30 minutes.
I feel so calm right now I might eat some candy to get a cavity so I can go back and feel this calm again.
I know that is only my sugar addicted voice talking.

But you would have to wax that body to cut back on wind resistance.

Morning class!

VC-My hair acts as a sail....makes me really fast!

Feeling good today...the sugar/processed food free diet my wife is laying out for us is really something, its working well and I'm feeling so much better. It's amazing what life without booze and sugary foods or bread products will do for ya. No more horrid heart burn...no more stomach aches...blood pressure is way down...weight down....I thank God today for a sober lifestyle. (now if I can kick this chewing tobacco thing....ugh...that's next!)

Good day all!
