I can only sit here with my head in my hands knowing that the last real post on the last set of threads had me telling Warren to go to "Blue Penis Theater."

Oh, I just got in from seeing "Push" -- ugh. Not so good.

Monday morning, I have an appointment at the VA to get approval to get a mental health appointment. Since I use socialized medicine, you can't just tell them what you want. They have to allow you what you want.

When I tell them I want follow on help for my sobriety I am sure I will be OK.

Didn't know you were going to see Push, I coulda saved ya the 10 bucks! I seriously haven't seen a movie in eons that was actually as good and/or better than the trailer.

Charles, good luck w/ the VA.. I hope you get whatever you think you want them to allow you to get.. or something like that... lol

Night night all..

Alright - had my visit with one of my MD's from the VA. He said I didn't exhibit any signs of depression or bi-polar. Or better said -- not enough signs -- hehe!

But he did give me a number to call at Baylor College of Medicine to use their Residents at a reduced rate. Think of it as going to a local beauty school for a cheap haircut.

So I will follow up on all this and see if there is some kind of therapy out there that might increase my libido to half of that of my buddy here ...

Trippy Funny Story

I forgot to tell you the funny story behind what happened today at the VA Hospital.

While I was there talking about the programs, and the strain on the system from returning War Vets I realized I had asked them to get me my Blood Type during the last blood tests.

So here I am telling this doctor about why I would like to talk to someone, complaining about this and that. He listening while he is looking up my blood type on the computer.

He writes it down on a piece of paper and turns to hand it to me.

He starts saying, "well you don't sound depressed, and you don't sound extreme enough for Bi-Polar."

While he is telling me this I unfold the paper and look down and it simply says:

"B Positive"

That little sign hit me straight between the eyes.

Quit being a middle-aged man and "Be Positive."

Hello Everyone! Not to digress 20-some posts or anything, but, ExNavy, nice bike. That play you saw is loosely based upon my life (I have a 6, 4, and 2 year old.)
I pulled into the grocery store last night and blew $40.00 on cookies, candy and Ginger Ale for absolutely no reason... except that it made me feel better. Still sober!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok Ok ... you guys are no where around tonight to have fun with my joke.

I bought a dehydrator and made my first batch of beef jerky. I hate that it takes so long ... I am too impatient so next time I will start the process before bed and wake up to jerky.

Haha, I intentionally avoided the first one, and I'm not touching your morning jerk (really something you can handle alone anyway)!

We've lost so many people here to "forum breaks", I figured I'd behave

I hardly venture out of here. I am not even sure what gets people put on "break?"

Night night all

enjoy the jerky Charles I put a Bison roast in the slow cooker today, I'm not much of a meat eater but it sure did flavor the carrots and taters nicely..

Not taking an intentional break here.. Now that I showed my hubby how to use facebook he's obsessively posting pics, finding old friends, messaging etc etc.. I didn't even know he was computer literate! LOL.. that's only KINDA a joke. So my time on the computer is limited now, but that's ok, I finally caught up with all my Bad Girls Club and From Gs to Gents episodes! hahaha... oh it's the simple things that really do amuse me.
