Good morning whiners.
When I was a kid I really enjoyed a good condiment. Ketchup, relish, pickles, hot dog relish was my favorite.
Anyways Heinz used to be called Heinz 57. Remember that.
It was because they had 57 varieties of condiments and I wanted to try them all. I remembered this the other day and said now is the time to fulfill this goal so I went to their website to get a list.
Guess what? There are now 600 different varieties so I have to cross that off my bucket list as undoable and that is my first whine for the day.
I also have to produce another quality whine because I didn't want to whine yesterday.
I am putting on my thinking cap and will be back later.

It's still very early in the day so no whines yet, but will check back later and hopefully have one. If not, I'll make one up.

Fub..

You loved condiments when you were a kid? What do put on hot dogs?

Cheeseburgers? lol

A hot dog is not a hot dog sans mayo, mustard, pickle relish, catsup, (Ketchup)

I went to look at the bottle..chopped onions. (Maybe jalapenos if I'm brave)

And Heinz 57 still makes their famous Steak Sauce!!!! Yum!

Can you tell I haven't eaten yet?

Waiting for your whine, Fub..

Hugs Whiner's.. :ghug2:

I have been trying all day to come up with another whine to keep on track for the 90-90 and was drawing a blank so I took a break and worked on my taxes.
Lo and Behold after I put all the data in I owe the government $58. With all my stock market losses this year I hate having to send a check to Mr. Martin. Grrrrr.

My whine for the day is scratches on CD's. I was playing my Simon and Garfunkel CD and when the 59'th street bridge song (feeling groovy) came on there was a scratch on it and it is ruined. This did not make me want to drink though because I AM A ROCK.

Hope everyone, especially Pamm are feeling groovy today.

Have we all got whinasitus...cos I haven't got any whines either (again)...

...So here's a silly story about a dog who recycles.....

Tubby finds the bottles and crushes them in his mouth before taking them to his owner for recycling

A labrador called Tubby has helped his owner recycle an estimated 26,000 plastic bottles over the past six years by collecting them on his daily walks.

The dog picks up at least six discarded bottles on his twice daily walks before crushing them in his mouth.

He then takes them to owner Sandra Gilmore, of Pontnewydd, Torfaen, who puts them out for recycling.

"I'm glad he's got a nose for bottles rather than bones," said Torfaen Councillor John Cunningham.

Mrs Gilmore, who is 51, estimates that Tubby could have collected as many as 26,000 bottles in his lifetime.

"He has got a real nose for them and has done ever since he was a puppy," she said.

That is a sad story espresso.
Although it is great that the dog and it's owner have done all that recycling it also means that there have been 26.000 acts of rudeness and disregard for other people by the perps that have discarded those 26,000 plastic bottles somewhere where someone else had to pick them up.
People littering the streets is one of the things that annoy me and don't get me on the poop and scoop offenders.

here's a weird cat story

Woman buys used couch and finds cat living inside

SPOKANE, Wash. – The mysterious mewing in Vickie Mendenhall's home started about the time she bought a used couch for $27. After days of searching for the source of the noise, she found a very hungry calico cat living in her sofa.

Her boyfriend, Chris Lund, was watching TV on Tuesday night and felt something move inside the couch. He pulled it away from the wall, lifted it up and there was the cat, which apparently crawled through a small hole on the underside.

Mendenhall contacted Value Village, where she bought the couch, but the store had no information on who donated it. So she took the cat to SpokAnimal CARE, the animal shelter where she works, so it could recover, and contacted media outlets in hopes of finding the owner.

Sure enough, Bob Killion of Spokane showed up to claim the cat on Thursday after an acquaintance alerted him to a TV story about it. Killion had donated a couch on Feb. 19, and his 9-year-old cat, Callie, disappeared at about the same time.
