Just a Quite Trivial Question Really Part 8
Good girl! My work is over, hooray. I'm really struggling to keep up with my television viewing at the moment. There are really good things on while I'm at my meetings, and I record them, but then never get to watch them. Next minute the next one in the series is on, and I'm thoroughly lost. It's just like being drunk again!
Gosh, remember when you had to get up to change the channel. That wasn't so long ago you know. Remember the VHS/Betamax thing - the way video shops always had the film on both versions! And Sodastream!
And the phones when I was a kid had those dials with holes for you fingers. And 999 (the UK equivalent of 911) was the very longest number to dial, cause it had to go allll the way round. Who thought that one up - it should have been a quick number like 111!!!!

No, but I am from South Africa, and we didn't get a telly till I was 14. I had to go to my best friends house to watch anything! Knightrider was our favourite thing!
And when we lived in Zimbabwe, I remember climbing thru a barbed wire fence to the neighbours house to watch the Muppets every Friday evening at 5pm (such a vivid memory and I must have only been 5 years old!).
And we had to go two doors up to watch the Royal Wedding. In fact, these poor people had the whole street in their house watching the Royal Wedding. (Prince Charles and Diana, not Victoria and Albert!)
Sodastream is something that puts the fizz in fizzy drinks nands. So you can make Fanta out of orange juice and stuff like that!
