Oh - K! I love Allison Krauss - I had no idea she had an album with Robert Plant until I read the coverage of the Grammys. I will dl their album forthwith. She sings like an angel. Him? Not so much.

Hi Sis sorry I missed you I hope to read The Shack soon. I picked it up for $10 but have other stuff to read right now it's Dark Night of the Soul by Gerald May someone here recommended it and it's quite .. gripping. It kinda is, actually.
Pancakes were divine. Made with chocolate chips, butter-flavoured syrup, and fresh raspberries. They were heavenly!

Hmm pancakes, I used to make the most bestest American style pancakes...used to whip the egg whites and fold them into the batter...I had them with butter and maple syrup, they were the nicest food I have ever eaten.

Real Cananadian maple syrup kicks azz. I like going to the sugar bush in the spring it's such an adventure! There is still snow on the ground usually, and all the maple trees have buckets hanging from them to collect the sap. And when you go into the steam house or whatever it is where they have a giant vat of the raw syrup boiling?

I'm pretty content right now. My belly is full, I'm sitting in a comfy chair by the fire with the Jack Russell curled up next to me. The beagle and one of the cats and stretched out head-to-head next to the fire. I'm burning candles and some incense, the dishwasher is running. How grateful I am right now.

it's a really good album...
oh, and robert plant was obnoxious about getting the awards ...lol! ... she never got a word in..but he was good in the recording. see! i knew not very many people actually heard it. i was shocked at all the recognition it got.
i met allison krause once with my friend j who works for uso. i met her in new orleans tho, not iraq
- my friend j lived by her and they had some common circles. she was interesting, very serious, as i remember. but she had on a really cool green hat. ha!
so. our weather was oh. so. awesome. today.
