Agree 110% fubar. I traded in my addiction for a forum addiction. Gawd, i belong to too many of these things. I really do feel a closeness in the class, too. Keep it tight, people. We're here for one another. Cheers.

Oh, and today is Day 21 for me. w00t to the w00t! :ghug2

I can't believe I am writing that I am on day 3!. I was consumed all yesterday afternoon and evening with thoughts of wanting to go purchase wine to drink. Even at 10:20 PM I was considering going to the store. jeez.... it was exhausting! Followed by another fitful night of sleep. I am so tired during the day, you would think I would fall right asleep. But I made it here to day 3!!! I know from reading the posts things will get easier. I can't wait until I have that time under my own belt.

Take care and happy Wednesday!

Way to go snowdog with day 3! Sounds like you're getting through some tough times but you are right that it gets easier.

Eclipse - day 3 is great - way to go! This class really is a community.

TBAM - One Week - YES! you made it and it is great.

Thanks to all Januarians - I love this class - so much support and acceptance.

Way to go everyone. :ghug They say that the first million hours are the hardest. For all the math heads out there that is the first 114 years. Just kidding. I think that the first week is the hardest. At least I hope so.

I guess I haven't reported for class yet. Tardy on me! I'm on day 8 and just went to two grocery stores and past right by the liquor section. Wasn't even tempted (this time). That is my biggest fear since I was more of an at home drinker. Didn't care if I was alone or not. When I was alone there was noone counting so it was almost better.

At least this time I didn't run for a loaf of bread and wind up with a liter of vodka too! This not drinking does save money that's for sure.

I am tardy too! I agree with you wanttolive, I am already seeing a substantial amount of money NOT going out the door. I may try and sit down later and figure out about what I was spending............THAT would be sobering! LOL........

Hope I am not too late to join the class.........I will sit in the back if you want....hee hee

Day 4 and feeling proud.......nice to be here!!:ghug2

Welcome latecomers. Glad to see everyone is progressing so we;;. If we added up all our time together we would have at least a year or two.

VC you better sit up front. You look like a little bit of a rabble rouser and take that pencil out of your nose.

Day28 in the Books! Feeling better and better everyday that goes by...though the weekends are very difficult. Not to mention SuperBowl weekends coming up and just so many parties and boozin going on. That's the next big test. After that it will be all good.
