Ok! The ORIGINAL home of buffalo wings! And yes, they were probably the best wings I've ever had. They were basically perfect.

They served the wings with a side of blue cheese dressing/dip. I'm normally a ranch person, but this blue cheese wasn't bad and it went well with the wing sauce.

YUM.

Why aren't they just called chicken wings?

Do you have chicken buffalo hybrid beasts roaming around the States?

Seriously the first time I was in the states I did a double take of the menu....

Flying Buffalos........ WTF?

But then I reasoned... with wings so small they wouldn't be able to fly, so maybe they just strutted around like dodo's?

I can't imagine John Wayne riding across the savannah herding flightless birds...

No, we were wrong, they do exist after all. It's a lot of buffalo for a very small wing!

Where do buffalo wings come from?

Unless you are referring to the one about the roman soldiers and the 893 steps that don't quite make up a mile. Unless they have drunk a fifth of whiskey each before hand.

Of course, if they are walking through a million inches of snow, and the earth is rotating one second a year slower, they would need to take 895 steps.
