Slept no more than two hours last night and now feel like sh!t. It's a cold windy day and I don't feel like doing anything. So wound up from being up most of the night that I feel physically ill.
Afraid to take a nap as I did yesterday cause it made it hard to get to sleep last night. Bah humbug!

We may have a bit of a dusting tomorrow. 
It will add to the mood they're trying to generate around here...loads, and loads, and loads of decorations all through the units. I call it Holiday Overkill! Anybody ever hear, "Less is more"?

GRRRR Whine Approaching - Danger
I got two new pair of glasses, both bifocal blended, lens size about the same in both pair, just different frames. In other words...they should be identical to see through.......NOT!
I can see perfectly through one pair, distance and close up both. The other pair are a blur. I don't know what they did but they didn't do it right.
So now I have to make yet another trip to the eyeglasses place, get them to figure out what is wrong, order the new ones and wait several weeks perhaps with Christmas approaching.

I'm going to play a few games and get ready for bed before my aide goes to dinner. See you all on the morrow. Looking forward to watching the Giants beat the Eagles...hoping for another trip for them to the Super Bowl!

Still bored out of my wits (that wasn't far to go...) but don't want to 'do' anything. Complain whine fuss fuss...
The doggies are lying on the floor of my den sleeping peacefully in mom's room. Now that's a happy sight!
P.k. is coming over later with fiance for a visit. That'll be nice. Doggies will enjoy her visit cause she always gives them tummy rubs and treats. Her Beloved is a great guy too - I really love him. He'll be my second super son in law next Spring.
I'd better get out of this thread - I'm not whining enough.

I went shopping and got some rocking internal gas today. It hit me out of nowhere. I had pain from my chest all the way down to just past my umbilical cord connection thingy. It hurt to breathe.

My whine - My best friend's husband just got laid off from his job! It totally sucks and I am just sick for them.
I'm in the post office picking up a package and the guy in front of me tells me his daughter just got laid off her job with no notice. Walked to the door. The postal worker said he has heard there will be lay offs at the post office as of the first of the year.
Scary!!!

Well, after 3 or 4 days of "happy partner" depressed, non communicative, grumpy partner is back.
This makes me tend to want to be out of the house. So, I get out of the house and go to meetings. With no car, I get rides from AA friends, some of whom are male. This makes depressed, non communicative, grumpy partner grumpier.
"Why are you going to that meeting?"
"cause I NEED A MEETING!!!!"
