Ey ups LB,

The GuineaRat looks frozen solid this morning. Stick it in the microwave on defrost for a minute.

Hold on, cookbook says one minute 30 seconds, sorry.

The Wibbles done decorating!

Fook that i've had enough

I may have enough energy to wrestle a fiesty wilder beast to the ground, groom it, be-friend it before setting it free in Meadowhall, so it may roam amongst the top shops, Chav's and Burger Kings... but i'm fooked off decorating

Just laid a laminate wood floor this morning, I have work to do!

Where the Fookin hell is pixxy?

I mean

WHERE THE FOOKIN HELL

Is Pixxy?

The Wibble ain't pleased!!!

As a side issue...

I'm loving Burnley....

6.00 p.m. Day 3...Bad moodswings but feeling confident that as long as I socially isolate, I'll manage the weeks up to 'Winterval'. (The day itself isn't a problem, my family's disapproval of my drinking is formidable).

Browsed through some of my posts from the summer, who the f**k was that guy??!!
Still I must've managed to carve a few sober synaptic pathways and sub routines.

I'm sick of being sick but I really do feel like one sick puppy.

Burnley, Wenger, is that something to do with football?

I hate Wenger with a passion I normally only reserve for current or ex managers of the pigs (Sheffield United).

Where the fook is Pixxy?

Day 17

Had a thought earlier that i'm getting bored of being sober. Fancy getting twatted....

How stupid is that

I've always found that sobriety builds up in waves. After these last 2 weeks, Wibble you'd feel SOOOOO bad tomorrow if you gave into the instant gratification imp.

I lived in Oughtibridge for 10 years as a teenager, so I'm with ya on 'the pigs' *spits on floor* Mindst the last game I saw was against Newcastle and Keegan was playing.

Still feeling like a cynical b*stard, I'm hoping to be much more pleasant in a couple of days.

jiggy...I love your avatar.....

And you are right about how horid you would feel the next day...but just as important...if you work through this little spot of being bored I can promise you you will have many many very unboring days ahead of you....sobriety equals change...change is never very boring for long....

I gotta hurry up and go back to work for 45 mnites...appts took way too long this afternoon!

I like where i am ending up due to not being drunk and on my butt all the time:ghug2

Cheers guys, I made it through ok. No real danger of drinking, more being overcome by the desire to poo....

Day 18

Day 1 for me. I was at a Slipknot gig with my son and friends. Let's just say, I got a bit trashed, but the God of Hangovers is punishing me today!

No - she stayed home!!

You know what was weird was I went straight to drinking vodka, whereas before I only drank lager and wine.

Supposed to have a meeting tonight, but I am too tired!

LB.....don't let this turn into something more now!

I made myself go to a meeting last night that I wasn't real up about going to and low and behold....i heard everything that wibbles needed to hear

just kidding..it was good for me too.

Have you had a chance to look at what you could have done differently to get through without drinking? You know I bet there are people who go to a slipknot concert and don't drink and have fun....just athought

I've only been to one concert sober...and I really don't like them cause of the crowds and stuff...but I do go to parties occasionally where drinking occurs and I think it gets easier as I get more comfortable with myself.
