lots of opinions, but I recommend reading the pamflet on sponsorship...and understand before you choose. maybe go over it with someone you think you might be interested in

Problem is, the person I want to sponsor me is a man! And that's not allowed. But that's who I feel comfortable with. Nothing sexual, he is like a father figure to me.

Oh well, it'll happen when the time is right. Thanx for that nands, sometimes I feel I should be getting a sponsor, but things are kind of good with the drinking side of things at the moment, and that was the really destructive side of things for me.

If it aint broke, don't fix it - that's my philosphy!

I don't trust men, so I could nver sponsor one...but maybe I'll get better in time

Hi everybody,
I've arrived at my lovely business trip destination. I'm feeling overwhelmingly sad at the moment. I'm hoping it's just the long day of travel and not enough sleep. But MAN I hate feeling like this!

I'm off to take a hot bath and hopefully make myself feel better.

I just found the first post I ever posted on here (not as wibble under a different name).
18/11/07. I'd been lurking around the site for months before that as well. Kinda hit home to me that i've been desperately trying to stop drinking for well over a year.

It feels totally different this time, I reckon you lot would send the boys round if I started drinking now!!!!

Hope everyone is good, not too cold or anything.

Wibble

x

Morning all :ghug3

Got a fuzzy head today but hey its Day 2.

It's cold here too, defrosting the car and heating it up before I have to go to work. I wish I could use SR at work, I can get it on our system but would be in trouble if I got caught.

Too right its distracting I thought when I gave up drinking I would finally get a life, I didnt realise that it was going to be a cyber life. Someone needs to start a 'help me quit reading SR every fifteen minutes' thread.

Id do it myself but it would only feed my addiction!

Me too! We need to start an SR anonymous thread! End of year accounts - that sounds like a riot! We just did ours, thank goodness.

Hoping like hell I've set up the 15% VAT right on my computer!! It seems to have changed all the VAT right up until 2004!! It'll be an interesting return we'll be submitting in the next quarter, I feel!

What a set of geeks

Best thing is about my accounts is that I can see when I was hammering coke because there's tons of cash withdrawls...

Awesome....

LB

If its that cold where you are, I suggest you have a look at the Health & Safety at work act 1974... and sue the mutha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok you'd lose your job and end up chewing codeine washed down with booze, but hey you'd feel like a winner!

I like my job Wibs! I still can't believe anyone would let me loose on their business the way I am here, but I do OK at it.

Tis a bit chilly, but in the unbearable one day heatwave of '94, it was just right!!!

OMG.....I didn't realize we were ALL bean counters!!!!!! I haven't balanced since March....and we are sorting and filing the last years worth of bills.

Our end of year isn't until july so I hope to be caught up by then. But I do have to start working on tuition funds for our GRAs immediately...thx you guys for reminding me.

OH....and goodmorning....It's getting off early that causes me to think drinking.
