Playstation cases too Timzup! and have you seen the size of a Nintendo game case, when the game is like 2" square. I think it's to trick you into thinking they are worth £40.00.

Now DVD's, I just can't think, except that maybe they are trying to soothe us technophobes into believeing they are not so different to videos.

I'm a complete technophobe. This forum is the most I have done on a computer, ever. Taken a pic of myself on the webcam for the first time, found a pic of a guinea-fly and turned it into my avatar - I am smoking!!

Its all about perceived value isn't it? If the packaging looks more expensive for a DVD then we are more willing to pay a higher premium for it. Especially when DVD's only cost £1 (max) inc packaging to produce and CD albums can be done for 60p.

I think they just got fed up trying to con us though when they got to Blu-ray...they just used blue DVD cases... thats some next level sh*t there!!!!!

Why are DVD cases so much bigger than CD cases when the discs are exactly the same size?

It's better you don't know. It's better you don't know anybody that knows. It's even better if you've never bought a dog off anybody that knows somebody that knows.

It's the Devil's business.

Nands

If I tell you what Marmite is... you can never go back to not knowing what marmite is.

Are you willing to take that risk?

When I first saw that cartoon I thought it was homophobic...

Anyway....

Marmite my wonderful American friend is a black spread made from Yeast (yes fat bird breast cheese). Its wonderful on toast, bread, err.. mashed potatoes and err bread.

Seriously its wonderful, some people love it, some hate it!!!!!

Then write and tell us what it tastes like

We have an official truce with bottoms in celebration of meatloaf monday...then maybe we can invite them over for thx giving dinner and send them home with infected blankets....

The people on bottoms seem fairly nice I don't see what the problem is.

Ok they might be Americans... but since Obama we love America again!!!!!!!!!

They've gone from being our drunk uncle who turned up at Christmas parties, drank all the sherry and then tried to cop a feel with Aunt Maud to being our cool uncle... a bit like the Fonz again.
