That happened to me when I first came here...I greatly admired a certain
person, who just seemed to overlook me, never thanked my posts.
I was vulnerable, maybe trying a tad too hard. I PM'd a close friend to ask advice.
It really bothered me...they said.."Just let go of it..maybe back off a bit."
And then they raved about the person. (As they should!)
Oooh! Double hurt! Yow..but I did..I think they are the type of person who
likes to be the one to approach..and compliment, make the move.
Know what? that person is one of my best friends and supports here now.
Don't take it "personally." You are great all by yourself..and need not seek
another's approval, here, or anywhere else. As you grow..your light will
shine brighter and brighter...it already is Niks. And.. and thank you
