30 Days and Under Club
30 Days and Under Club
Hi Everyone,
As a recent graduate of the Two Weeks and Under Club, I'm starting this new thread. It's sort of an in-betweener between that thread and the 3 Month and Under club.
Trying to keep things realistic and non-overwhelming!
So, everyone is welcome here. I look forward to seeing everyone's progress over these next few weeks. As long as you're coming back and posting, you're making good progress!
On to day 15 for me.

So just three days separates us this go around, huh! I must REALLY be following in your footsteps because I think I was about 1 week behind you when the first 2 week and under thread began! So Negative Man, please set a good example! I don't want to EVER have to start again. Love ya!
Hey Neg Man & ROFL, made it, day 15 done, just checking in before I go to bed.
So this is what our new thread looks like !!!!!!!!!!
Hoping Paddington and Someguy and everyone else will be joining us very soon.
Tired tonight, played football and its a 30 mile drive home after, brain was telling me to buy a bottle of wine and some beers all the way home as well, made it though and its nice knowing I'll wake up tomorrow with nothing more than sore legs, no sore head or being sick. Why o why do we think like this, should be simple, I don't particularly like myself drinking, it always makes me feel ill so why on earth do I even waste time considering it.
Bank holiday weekend here, think I'll drink a sparkling water toast to having 3 great days off work with the kids and hopefully another 3 more days down the line of not drinking.
Cheers guys

Red rover, red rover, send Fizzy on over! Glad you made it my friend! Let's call a few more up from the 2 week thread! Long weekend for me too. I won't be posting again until WEDNESDAY. That seems like an eternity. Let's hope I'm still in this thread and not back to the two week and under. Holiday weekends like this one are KILLER!
Yay Fizzy. Welcome!... And thanks Steamvessel. That's the paradox of recovery. Even our slips help other people. I'm glad I've been helpful to you. You've returned the favor many times over with your kind-hearted posts.
I'm working on day 20 today. I plan on making it.

Quiet in here today neg man, just checking in, day 16, nice quiet day today, wee bit of shopping with my kids this morning then watched the Scottish cup final on TV at home with a couple of cans ( ice cold coca cola only ).
Its nice to feel well.
Its nice to feel well.
Hey Guys,
I just wanted to stop in and say 'hi' and congratulate each of you on your success. It's great to see you all supporting each other and sharing your struggles. I know it helps. And, that's why we're all here.

Thanks Anna. We're glad you dropped in!
And you're right, Fizzy. It does feel good to feel well.
I'm getting through the day, though I'm having some "drinking daydreams." Not urges, but just thinking about drinking. I had some apple juice, and when I swallowed it, I had this terrible fear that I'd mistakenly taken some Pinot Grigio. Just my brain playing tricks though.
Day 20 about down. Onto three weeks tomorrow! Yay. Rock on everyone.
