You can use PM's frst, that's about the only way to message privately to another member.

Do any of your AA clubs in the area have a Thanksgiving dinner? The club I attend has wonderful meals at Thanksgiving and Christmas. I think my kids like them better than eating at home! :thank5

Visitor messages are turned off because of spam problems - but you are welcome to forward the email to me via PM. You could email me but I'm at work and the firewall would prolly prevent it from getting to me.

Hi groupies.

I don't know if any of you remember me ever mentioning that I needlepoint in meetings. Here is the finished project. I started it last October. It took 10 whole months.

Wow, that is cool Nands. I don't know how much it is worth. I cost me $330 to get it blocked and framed though!

I'm sure it is worth double that already...and age really increases the value. My little one was only about 8x10 and wasn't framed or blocked and was 35 years old...original cost 10$.....I think the block and frame just add more to the value...

Beautiful work tanya! Maybe I can try that when I retire someday;-)

Sher- Our Christmas Eve and New Years Eve alcothons are da bomb! Hundreds of alkies in attendance, loads of yummy food, and 'round the clock speaker meetings. I can't wait! :bounce (if the little woman lets me go. Lol.)

Tan that needlepoint is beautiful. I have a lot of trouble finishing things - so I am impressed with a project that took 10 months, and still got finished. Way to go!

Stone -- I'm not sure about knitting for a guy. That's too 'out there' for me. How about whittling? Pick up a block of wood and a good knife. Hmmm .. thinking about taking a knife to a meeting .. maybe not so good an idea.

Whittling is a bit more macho, yea! Or scrimshaw?
