Suboxne vs oxycodone

IVE BEEN CLEAN OFF OF OXY FOR 13 DAYS!~ I STARTED SUBOXONE 13 DAYS AGO AND I MUST SAY I HAVE NO CRAVINGS AT ALL! AND FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A WHILE I FEEL NORMAL!~ SOME PEOPLE THINK THAT IF YOUR ON SUB'S YOUR NOT CLEAN! BUT I WILL STRONGLY DISAGREE! HEY HOW I LOOK AT IT IS IM NOT USING OXY NO MORE!~ (AND I WAS A IV USER) (I WAS GETTING 240 ROXICODONE HDRYOCLORIDE 30 MG PER MONTH)SO THERES A BIG DIFFERENCE!~ I DONT PLAN ON TAKING SUBOXONE FOR LIFE!~ A MATTER OF FACT IM TAPERING MY DOSE NOW AND IVE ONLY BEEN ON IT 13 DAYS! I TAKE OTHER MEDS AS WELL HERE IS WHAT THE DOC GAVE ME!~

CLONIDINE
AMITRIPTYLINE
PROPRANOLOL
SUBOXONE

BUT I WOULD RATHER TAKE SUBOXONE ANYDAY OVER OXYCODONE! THE FOG HAS BEEN LIFTED!~ AND IM GLAD I HAD THE STRENGTH TO SEEK HELP IT WAS THE BEST DECISION IVE EVER MADE!~ I HAVE NO INSURANCE SO THIS IS ALL OUT OF POCKET! BUT I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO the other side~ IM ABLE TO LOOK INTO THE MIRROR AND SEE SOMEONE I LIKE NOW! THATS A GOOD FEELING!~ IT IS EXPENSIVE!` FOR THE DOCTOR VISITS AND THE SCRIPT!~ MY DOCTOR VISIT IS=$200 EACH TIME AND MY PILLS ARE $6 BUCKS EACH! SO BE READY TO PAY SOME MONEY!` IF YOU HAVE INSURANCE THATS THE TICKET!~ JUST FINDING A DOCTOR WHO WILL ACCEPT IT IS ANOTHER!~ IF ANYONE IS THINKING ABOUT QUITING OXY!~ DO LOOK INTO SUBOXONE I HIGHLY RECCOMEND IT!~ I PICK SUBOXONE WHAT DO YOU PICK?

STAY POSITIVE AND FOCUSED ON BETTER DAYZ!

Good luck man.

My opinion on the "Sub's" is that the taper should be a little uncomfortable, if it get's comfortable you may be taking too much.

Again, good luck with that and keep coming back.

Since this is an NA 12 Step support forum, I'll tell you that the Steps are what worked for and set me free from the type of slavery you seem to be stuck in.
Check out a meeting near you today and good luck :)

There is a separate forum for these sorts of issues. This forum is for 12-step recovery through NA.
