Way to go!!!! You know what comes after 30 days, right? No not 60 days.......

31 days!!!!! :)

Wow!

What wonderful news! Something someone with many years of sobriety told me after my first 30 days was "don't think about the anniversary, think about where you were the day before."

It was good advice. To reflect monthly on where I was has helped me move forward! It's great to see you moving forward.

God bless!

Dietrich

Congratulations on 30 Days!!!!

I remember my big 'ole smile on 30 Days! I wanted to tell strangers in the gas station, at the grocery, anywhere I went.

Keep up with the Meetings, work the Steps, use your Sponsor!

As you know, it works if you work it!

God Bless,
Judy

Hi friends,
Just back from picking up my 30-day tag. I took a major leap and celebrated it by calling up the woman in my circle who's recovery inspires me the most (she has over 20 years and seems so fulfilled and happy) so I could have her and her sponsee at the meeting to cheer me on. This was the first time that met up with someone at a meeting. It might sound stupid, but for a socially ******** addict like me, it is so hard to reach out and follow up. She had asked me to call her, but I loathe myself so much that I suspected that she was being insincere and doing me a favor when she told me that being with a newcomer like me helps her too, and seemed excited for me. But she did show up and even asked me to come to another meeting with her and her sponsee tomorrow. I wonder if she has time to sponsor me too? What a good way to celebrate my 30 days. I know God was there, especially when the woman giving out the tags turned out to be another woman I've really enjoyed talking with at other meetings. It made it more special to have it be someone who knows about my recovery. I know I'm "high" on new recovery and that it'll wear off and I'll have hard times, too but I'm happy, just for today. I appreciate every one of you taking the time to congratulate me on my 30 days.
