Hi! I'm trying to stay clean. This isolation is killing me. I've been clean for over 3 decades but I really just want to escape from the madness that is COVID19. I don't want to use again but taking a pill to sleep, a pill to wake up, a pill to stay calm, a pill to relax, one to give me my appetite back, one for chronic pain, etc etc is sounding good some days. It really is a battle within me. Anybody else going through this?

I think a lot of people are going through this - unfortunately this is a situation we can't escape from.

If you've been sober 30 years, then you know the only thing worse than freaking out about COVID19, would be freaking out about COVID19 drunk or or pilled up..

I try not to look at the news too much in one day. I try to stay home as much as possible, and when I have to go out I try and minimize my risk as much as possible.

Use the support here too - it's pretty amazing

Thank you! I try to do the same things. I guess I just needed to hear someone else say it! It's a battle every day. We're going to make it through this...one day at a time.
