Principles and values

just starting my fourth step and they ask what values and principles are important to me. what do they mean as an addict i had no values or principles

For me, the 4th step includes inventory of our good qualities as well as our bad. I believe we all have assets...either from an earlier period of our lives, or as the BT tells us, "newly found in the program."

If you read the 4th Step in the BT, you'll find a list of principles and values on page 29 that may inspire some ideas of your own.
