As far as your comment, "...who have to deal with dysfunction with their families..." So, in my situation, time spent with those folks is limited mostly to holidays and special occasions and is not an everyday ongoing thing (breathing a sigh of relief).

Anyway, perhaps "absence makes the heart grow fonder." I don't know -- that could be a bit of wishful thinking there, lol!

I'm right there with you. The holiday season was not all about happiness and joy these past months; however, I am grateful for the moments of happiness and joy that did come through.

Moving on, crossing fingers and praying for better days ahead.
