NPD, high on the spectrum
NPD, high on the spectrum
I've been doing "research" over the last couple of years on narcissistic personality disorder, reason being it seems I've a couple of those in my life who may have NPD (I am not a mental health professional), who are high in narcissism, who I feel can be a burden, who can be oppressive and, yes, even destructive. Only more recently am I finally "getting it," accepting who I am dealing with while understanding the proper way to respond or even better how to not respond to them.
Here's a copy and paste from an online search, "Psychologically speaking, narcissism is a personality trait that every person possesses to some degree. Like any characteristic, it exists on a spectrum. ... A person who is excessively high in narcissism is said to have narcissistic personality disorder (NPD), which is a diagnosable mental illness.Nov 14, 2018," taken from http://www.businessinsider.com/narci...issist-2018-11
Good article; concise and helpful!
