I was promised the following things:
Most likely 7-3 but at the very least 3-11
start Sunday of next week
time to get my schedule to my new job
i got:
Told I'm taking mostly 11-7 or else I don't have to come back
start tomorrow with notice given to me today
no respect for me to have time to notify my other job before they made th schedule
if i do or say anything disputing any of this, I am told I'm being disrespectful, which they don't have to tolerate, and if I don't like the way things are, I don't have to come back.

I'm having such a hard time waiting on the train platform at night. It's really causing me a lot of problems. Last night I was there all alone and I was terrified the entire time. At my other job, I saw some creepy guy with his face covered hiding in one of the booths and ever since then, I've been terrified of waiting there st night. I cried the whole next day I came home, and I'm crying now. I hate this. I might just forego my deposit and go get a car today. I don't think I can ever do that again. I try to talk to people about it but no one understands. I have PTSD so bad about being attacked.

Lacey, that is terrible. Is there any other alternate transportation, a cab or something you can take just for short term? It sounds like the car is coming up very shortly in your future.
Also, can you make sure you have mace and a stun gun in your possession? I have gotten both and they both help me feel more secure.

If you're going to have to take the train I agree with hopeful that it's wise to keep pepper spray handy and it won't set you back more than $10. I hope you're able to get transportation soon.

Yes! I bought three pepper sprays for $20 (one for me, and one for my kids, I don't let them take walks or jogs without it) and a mini stun gun for $10. It's not much, but it's enough for me to get away should something happen.

We are back to not admitting patients at work. More problems with the state. Could shut down again.
I am so ready to be done with this.
I spent the last of my money on the car. This is it. If it shuts down again, I have to go back to my home state. There is no other option.
