Anxiety/Depression
 

Been sober for around twenty months and I can honestly say I've never felt as bad as I have for the last week.

The anxiety I've felt has been as bad as anything that I felt after a four or five day binge and my inability to motivate myself to do anything has been really frustrating.

Been to the doc and had my medication doubled but that'll take some time to kick in.

Just looking for somewhere to sound off really.

I'm quite laid back, not really a 'take control' type of person and a wee bit of chaos and unorganised-ness doesn't really bother me but the lack of control over this is really getting to me.

It's as if I'm able to step back, see how irrational I am being and see, perhaps not solutions, but things that'll certainly help me along the way (exercise for instance), but there's something within in me just making it impossible to lift myself to do anything.

Very frustrating as I said.

I'm ok FB - I get that same kind of amotivation sometimes - it usually means I'm depressed on some level, so I'm glad you got some help :)

Seem to have snapped out of it now. 10 days of my life lost right enough. Back to work Monday hopefully.
