not really feeling good because my health issues have not been good lately. But as for being sober I do feel less anxious and less chaotic. I just am not feeling physically well so spend a lot of time working on trying to fix that and it has actually been worse in the time I have been sober. so it is not easy living quite yet.

day 38 sober
I want to share this poem I have been reading sometimes when I am feeing down on myself. It is a poem by Rumi
The Guest House
This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

I know that was a weird article I was smoking a lot when I posted it- but I can relate to this element of fear I felt a lot when I was smoking a lot- paranoia, anxiety, whatever- so maybe the entity is like an analogy for just living in that scared feeling when when you are high all the time.
