Favorite Things about Sobriety
I still revel in the benefits of sobriety. I guess it's not my normal yet. I don't take it for granted.
This list is great. It gives fantastic reasons to quit.

So on a related note, which is your favorite?
I would have to say mental clarity ranks right up there.
As I approach the age of 60 (YIKES), mental sharpness has become a growing concern. My "senior moments" were way too often when I was not sober.
Countless times I left the front door unlocked when going to bed.
Or I'd leave leftover dinner out overnight to spoil.
Or I'd leave the heat on all night.
So many neglected things.
But now when I lock the door before retiring, I am grateful.
I hope the gratitude never wears off, because it's a daily reminder of where I was and how far I've come.
