Welcome back River.
You can't quit if you don't try.

Staying sober and that's what's most important.
Unfortunately, I've been doing some emotional eating. Sister died from alcoholism and I'm not processing it well.
I think I need to talk to someone or do some journal writing.

Sorry about your sister, Lynn. That's really tough. I'm really sorry for your loss. Peace and be well.

Thanks Paco. Just dealing with a lot of emotional stuff. So angry and feeling guilty at the same time and not really gotten to grieving yet. Sucks.

Dear Lynnmarie, that's really sad to read. Take care and don't be too hard on yourself.

Thanks everyone. I didn't mean to monopolize this thread. This is everyone's thread.
So how is everyone doing?
3 1/2 years off booze for me.
Days shy of 2 years off pot!

Wow, that's quite an achievement you made! You didn't monopolize btw

I'm nearly at a year and a half without weed, struggling through a rough spell at the moment. They go away eventually, but when they return, they seem to get a little rougher each time. I hope you folks are faring a little better than me.

Sorry to hear you are struggling FlyingDutchMan.
Recovery is not a straight line, right? Lots of ups and downs.
Just keep on keeping on because going back to pot is just a downward line.
I do hope that these rough spells are getting farther apart.
Be well.

Reaching back to the point of 24 days clean, fell off a bit back but am mostly determined today. Life is a tough one but I do know for a fact that pot will make things so much more tough. My everything depends on staying sober.
