Reasons Life is Better Without Weed

I can relate to every single one. Literally, every one. What a great find!
Lynn, I did the same thing, and to be honest I really couldn't put anything into the 'positives' column except 'i'm addicted to it.' It just wasn't fun any more.

Just thought of another one...when planning vacations I would never plan one where I couldn't take my weed along. How limiting
So...being able to take a vacation without worrying about how/if it's possible to bring weed along or how to score it when I get there.

I used to not even enjoy my vacations because I was in withdrawal (I know touchy subject) the first 4 days and couldn't even eat the all inclusive food! Then I would drink heavily to compensate for the anxiety I felt, which gave me even more anxiety, bad news bears!
I've thought of another one. When I smoked weed I always mixed it with tobacco. So no more smoking harmful cancerous smoke which causes me to cough and reduces my lungs' capacity's to process oxygen to my body and brain.

This really is a great list. I can attest to many of these when I got sober for 6 months about 8 years ago. I had never felt better about my self and where my life was headed when I got sober. Unfortunately I soon started back up again thinking I could control it. It didn't take long until I was right back where I started.

Little to no social awkwardness
More confidence with the opposite sex
Enjoying time spent with close friends and family members who don't get high
Not having to wait all day for my dealer to text me back and then having a panic attack when he doesn't
Not worshipping a plant
Not living in a completely self-absorbed state of mind
Liking and accepting myself

I gave up smoking May 22, 2022 because I can't dream anymore. I couldn't really sleep good. I am hoping my sleep will be better and I can dream again.
Another reason is cost. Food is more important and I am not going to go hungry because of buying marijuana from the dispensary. Food is getting really expensive.
