say thanks?
First of all, I wish I could figure out how to "say thanks" on other people's threads... I don't see where you click that.
Secondly, I didn't succeed yet in my goal to not smoke in the mornings. I gave up after a job offer fell through. But now I got a new job offer, so I'm motivated to try again.
I'd like to hear stories from people who have succeeded in abstaining for periods of time and felt better during those times...

If your using the mobile app apparently there's no thanks button, Faith.
I haven't smoked in 8 years, but I smoked for around 30 years before that, mostly daily.
It was tough - I quit alcohol and cigs too - I really had to make a lot of lifestyle changes and I ad to deal with a lot of irritability. I was like a bear with a sore head. I sweated a lot, I had some insomnia and most of all I felt very fatigued.
I felt better in a few weeks tho.
It took a while, but I can be around it now and not want to partake.
Weed took a lot from me,. and there's no room in my life. as it is now, for backward steps
If I can do it, you can too
