Apparently Feherty recently relapsed after his sons death. I believe he is clean again.

Thanks for this. I don't follow golf closely but I know who Feherty is and vaguely remember reading he was an alcoholic.

Right, and tom watson is an even bigger name in golf. I believe he was playing today in the senior open. Feherty said in another interview I saw with him talking to John Daly(pro golfer and big drinker) that he used to drink 2 or 2.5 bottles of whiskey and take 30-40 Vicodin a day. Hard to even imagine.
