Nearly all my dreams are nightmares

The ones I hate the most are the ones involving storm surges or tsunamis. They've become so bad that I'm now freaked out by the sea! I used to love sitting on the beach and now it freaks me out. I'm sure they have something to do with being overwhelmed but I'm not sure how to tackle that. If I could afford psychodynamic therapy then perhaps I could tackle them but it's so expensive and long term thay it's not a viable option for me right now.

Anyone else have these dreams? They tend to end up with me racing to save loved ones and animals from drowning and failing

I don't have those types of dreams, but I wish you peace and relief from them. The longer I'm clean and sober the less frequent my nightmares are, although I don't believe they'll ever completely go away. Just last night I had a dream that woke me up because I was moaning so loudly, it was not a pleasant experience.

could they be caused by your pregnancy? it sounds like it could be anxiety about upcoming responsibility?
