Clonidine Doesn't Help Me Sleep At Night
 

I've taken Clonidine at bedtime for about 3 years now. Recently my doctor switched me from .2mg at bedtime to .1mg 3x/day. During the day I take it with Lisinopril and sometimes I can feel them really kick in and make me sleepy and sometimes not.

I take just Clonidine at bedtime, and it doesn't make me sleepy. But if I go to bed anyway (around 1 am usually) it may finally let me get to sleep by 2, but after a couple of hours I wake up and am wide awake for 2-3 hours.

I hate this. I hate short naps during the day and not being sleepy at night.

Do you read 2h before bed ? have you made a point to night after night it helps
