I broke that habit after having it for years, I am to cheap to buy cable. For a long time the idea of going to sleep without t.v on was scary.

I use to fall asleep with the television all the time too as it distracted me from my thoughts. Got use to turning it off though as it does help with sleep to have it off. No blue lights in your room at night are suppose to help you sleep.

I always fall asleep with the fan on high. I like it cold. I never could go to bed with the TV on, pass out sure.

Yep, a big ol box fan set on high year round. Drowns out any neighborhood noises and lulls me to sleep with a steady droning sound. Even when we travel, I always take my box fan. I don't think I could ever sleep without it.

Ceiling fan is a must. TV on if I'm sleeping alone. iPod if sleeping with the talking/snoring/pillow flipping/position changing/rolling around/top of bed/bottom of bed/back and forth to the bathroom/heavy sighing/talking some more husband.

Watching T.V actually puts me to sleep. Reading does also as well. It's the freaking internet that keeps me up.
