No sleep pattern
My lack of a sleep pattern is getting frustrating. Some nights I can't fall asleep, other nights I wake up and can't get back to sleep. Sometimes I fall asleep in the middle of the day, other times I can't get myself out of bed. For example last night I got to bed about 10pm and fell asleep, then woke up at 2am and couldn't fall asleep again. I got up and then about 1030am I feel asleep and did not wake up until almost 6pm! This is crazy. It is not healthy at all.
I have found that Melatonin helps me on those occasions where I can't fall asleep or stay asleep. It's a natural, non-addictive supplement that you can find at almost any drug store.

I'm a bit late adding to this thread. I have circadian sleep disorder and the symptoms are irregular sleep rhythm. I used to wake up every morning at 3-4 a.m. and not be able to go to sleep. It switched to staying up until 3 a.m. I was all over the map. My goal was to go to sleep before midnight and wake up when the rest of the world did.
To help regulate my sleep pattern I use, warm milk, melatonin, relaxation music (Paul Collier), autogenics meditation and a long walk in the morning. I also dim all lights an hour before I intend to go to sleep - no t.v. Google blue light - and - circadian sleep disorder.

That is interesting. I tend to find my energy levels often change. Different days and different times usually. I can only go to sleep when I am tired, and that can be a different times several days in a row.
