I am grateful for the chance to move to a new city and pursue my dream job. I'm grateful for the chance to be happy. I'm grateful for my parents' chance to be happy without me ... not that "without me" is a prerequisite, but that they deserve the chance to be alone and not have their kids around ... they deserve a rest.
