LOL

Good Evening Eddie, Richie, Kevin and L

Today I am grateful for being able to keep growing in my recovery and by starting to realize that I am not such a bad guy.
I am also grateful for seeing all the little things in life and how wonderul they are.

Good morning, Mike!! Good night, Kevin!!

I am excited and grateful this morning because one of my two Midnight Moon dahlias is now up!!

I am also grateful that this weekend on call is almost over. They have just about worked me to death. Normally, I take call on Monday nights as well, but I think my boss is going to take the beeper for me tonight. At least I hope he is. I'm worn out.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Good Morning Eddie, Mike, Kevin and Richie!!!!!!
The last few posts about underwear are still cracking me up.
Mike, Isn't it a good feeling to know that you are not "bad". Just a little unwell is all.
I am grateful this morning for faith and grace.

I am grateful today for being "unstuck", I always used to say I felt stuck in life, I realised this morning that feeling and many others have been taken away and left me in the main stream of life as it is.

<<< Speaking of underwear...

I am grateful that we actually ended up closing early today! AND I am not on call tonight! Things were so dead at work this afternoon that we wrapped things up at 5 instead of 5:30 or 6. This was highly unusual for a Monday, but the holiday made it possible.

Also grateful that I talked my husband into putting some chicken in to marinate around four, so that we had peanut butter BBQ chicken at a reasonable hour. It was scrumptious ! Got the recipe off the top of a Smuckers peanut butter jar.

Have to get to a meeting here soon. Have a great night, y'all!!
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Hey, Richie!!

I'm just glad I have a job that I actually look forward to going to. At least so far. LOL. I'm supposed to finally get out of the pharmacy some tomorrow and start doing some consulting! I'm excited!

Must go to bed now. G'night, all!!

Hi Eddie,Richie,L, and Kevin

That was well put L
Just a little unwell

Today I am grateful, that I can pause and think before I react, it tends to be a good thing. I used to get in a lot of trouble by just reacting and usually it was in a negative way.
I am also grateful for a saying I heard from an old timer "How important is it" I find myself thinking of this a lot of times when I feel that I might be getting a little hot under the collar, and it usually makes me feel a lot better

Have a goodnite everyone, and I guess a good morning for some

Yes, good morning, Mike!!

I am grateful to be going to the dermatologist today.

And I'm grateful I got up just early enough to get in a workout this morning. I hadn't exercised since Saturday which is a long time for me.

Time for work. I'm kind of dressed nice because I'm probably going out to some of our homes to start consulting. Whee!!!

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Good Morning,
I am grateful for my sponsor. She is cool and I can tell her everything. I am glad I had a chance to sit and talk with her yesterday. It has been awhile. I am also grateful for my glittery toe nails.

Hello Everyone,

Today I am very grateful for slow cookers. I made myself a wonderful roast stew Wow it was good.
I am also grateful and a little sad as well, My Step group that I have been with since Jan 31 of this year has come to an end, we have one more meeting a dinner one next Tuesday and that is it. It is a little dissappointing knowing it has come to an end, but am very grateful for the people that I have met, the friendships that have been created with people I normally would not mix with, and for all the ES&H that I have heard and learned from. Also very grateful for learning how to use these steps to help in my recovery and to learn how to live life sober. Who ever thought that I could be this happy without being tanked.

Have a good night, good morning everyone and I too am grateful for finding this thread, and for all of you, it definetly helps.

You lucky dog!! My PA and I thought I had toenail fungus and were trying to treat it, but when I went to the dermatologist yesterday she said I didn't have it. Apparently I just have ugly toenails . I guess I'll have to paint them now. LOL.

Hey, Mike, Richie, and Kevin!!

WELCOME to the thread, Arura!! I hope your dahlias are doing better. You can see pictures of some of mine on the Gardening thread on the What is Recovery forum.

Have to run meet with the trainer now. Will do my gratitude list after a while.

Love and hugs,
Eddie
