Today I am grateful for the chance to start over
I have been really struggling and having a hard time. After 11 years clean I stumbled and relapsed in late summer of 2004. I struggled until September of this year when I was finally able to lay down my drug of choice. Most recently I became involved with something that was intended to help me stay clean , but in the end I was misled and made some very poor choices.
But the gratitude comes from:
1- Realizing the poor choices I made.
2- Having the opportunity to make positive changes.
3- Sill being alive to be with my beautiful children and wonderful husband.
4- Having another chance to choose the right path.
I am also grateful that I found this forum and have met a few wonderful people here so far that have been extremely supportive and kind to me. You know who you are and you have no idea how much it's meant just to have people checking in to see how I am. Thank you!!
I wish all of you a clean, healthy and prosperous new year!!
