Bringing this zombie thread back to life.

Tonight I am grateful I have a warm home. Both warm in heat and warm in heart.

I miss you over at my new thread eddie

Today I am grateful for the rain. We had such a warm winter I was beginning to miss the cold.

I was asked to be a community greeter, too, but I didn't think I had time. Maybe I should reconsider. What do you think, Alera? Mind you, I don't ever look at new threads lately unless someone gives me a particular heads-up about one. Have to run now!

Love and hugs,

I will send you a PM Eddie.

Today I am grateful that I had that Starbucks Frappuccino in the house when I woke up early.

I am thankful that it is a beautiful and unseasonably warm day today so that I can play outside with my son rather than sit in the house drinking myself silly.

Still no snow here. Yesterday they were saying it might snow last night, but only rain came.

Snow? in NC? Well, I guess it depends on where you live....I used to live in Winston and it rarely snowed when I was there, but since I left it seems to snow more....Now I live in Chattanooga and it really NEVER snows here. Maybe snow doesn't like me....or maybe I did my "snow time" when I lived in Buffalo....maybe I'm just rambling....Oh Well, it's supposed to be 60 and sunny today here...Yippee, my favorite.

I live in Winston-Salem. LOL. Mostly we do get ice and sleet more than snow, unfortunately. When I lived in Boone and in Spruce Pine, though, there was snow. It surprises me that you don't get it in Chattanooga. Isn't it in the mountains, or at least the foothills? I have relatives there, I think, so I should know, but I don't.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Tonight I'm grateful friends are meeting on my thread.

I am also grateful for the warm bath waiting for me, because I finished doing all my 'outdoor' chores and I get to relax inside where its warm.

Nothing like a warm bath, eh? I love smelly bath stuff, you know? That reminds me I should revive my fragrances thread. Maybe I'll go do that.

Love and hugs,

What a coincidence...I would move back to Winston in a heartbeat. My mother in law is still there so we come to town every couple of months. I love it there around this time...the trees coming into bloom down Reynolda Road near the university.

Chattanooga is in a "bowl"; it's surrounded by mountains on all sides...that's why we don't get snow.

How are you feeling today? ...I know from the "newbie bus" thread you have been feeling down.
