You're welcome. It is really helping me change my thinking patterns, which is where my problems generally lie.

I'm grateful that I was able to program Java tonight and get my homework done. I was grateful I understand computer programming enough that I opened up JBuilder and was able to code within 4 minutes instad of saying "What are **} for?"

I am grateful for:
Being able to hear all 3 of my kids say that prayer every night.
Being able to see all of them sleep peacefully every night.
Being able to stay sober for another day and give to my family what they derserve.

I should get my husband on here to talk to you 'cause I don't have a clue what **} are for. LOL. Here is the website he put together for the Twin City Area Narcotics Anonymous. I think it's great, but what do I know?

Hey, Sean! Good to see you! Seems like it's been a while.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Great website. I really like the layout with the bar to the side. The colors also help navigation as well as adding a good look to the site.

Tonight I'm grateful I was able to deal with all my problems in administration at school while being sober.

Actually, I left that website open today to take another look. It is great code.

Tonight I am thankful I have energy to keep reading for my new 'job' as official staff (I even got an email address) and finish my assembly homework.

Thanks again, Alera!! I read hubby what you said and he says thank you also.

Does this promotion mean you'll actually be getting paid? Or is it still volunteer work? Not that it matters. I'm just curious. It's still great experience. I stayed on at the library where I did my community service to become a volunteer and I put that on my job applications.

Love and hugs,

Its full time volunteer. No payment. And by full time I mean 40 hours a week. But they are very understanding about needing time off. Great people. And thats what matters.

Today I'm thankful that I feel good about the midterm in Algebra I took tonight.

Cool! And it's computer work, too, right? I bet you really enjoy that. I wish my job were more oriented towards my area of interest, but then again, I am getting paid, so it's a trade-off. Maybe I should find some volunteer work in mental health somehow.

Love and hugs,

Alera, hope you did well on that algebra midterm.
It must be awesome to have that math ability.
The only math class that I have made it through since I have been
in college is Statistics, but I have to retake algebra.

At least you made it through statistics, C! As much as I was enjoying it, I actually failed it the first time through. And I think I took second-year algebra/pre-calc three or four times total. I can't memorize formulas for some reason, but I do really well when they are provided and I just have to apply them. Best wishes to both of you with the math classes!!

Thanks Eddie!
I hope I can get through algebra the next time I take it. I may be on my fourth or fifth time. I failed it twice and withdrew the other time. I always have such a rough time in there but maybe this time around will be successful.
I don't plan on giving up anytime soon.

Love and hugs,
Cheryl

You're welcome, Cheryl!! I think it depends alot on who's teaching. Find yourself a good instructor and you can do just about anything.

Thanks Eddie.

Tonight I'm grateful that I have my sweet cat. She just spend some quality time with her "Momma".

You're welcome, Alera! Cats are the bomb, aren't they? We may be getting another kitten here soon. If we do, I will be sure to post some pictures on the Pets thread of course.

Tonight I'm thankful I haven't used. And that the benadryl took away my headache for a few hours.

I'm not sure we're getting another kitty, but my mom's neighbors have some that they're not really looking after too well, so we may abduct one of them. lol.
