...one year here

About one year ago, I first came here to SR, just about the best place on the web. Since then I have lost my sobriety a couple of times so I don't have a year of sobriety, wish I did. However, I do have over 4 months now.

I am so thankful that I found SR one year ago, and so thankful for all the advice I have received and the help and the support and the friendship!

Congrats on all your accumulated clean time Chris...

I never look at relapse as a failure... only a chance to learn about my disease...

Every day I am clean is a star on the calendar... whether the stars are connected or not...
But that's just me... ;o)

I can so relate to your appreciation of SR ...
I think of this place as a shining beacon in the universe... constructed out of thought.. and feeling.. and wire.. and electricity...
Bless this place...

...and bless you for keeping the light burning for the other pilgrims.. ;o)

Great post, bikewench. If it weren't for SR I don't think I'd be tapering off today, but using full blown. Actually, I don't 'think' I know that.

yes, it is the sober days that count, but we learn from our mistakes and grow from them, for that i'm grateful to.

SR is the best!!!
