Today I am grateful for...

• the wisdom that caused me to see my addiction.
• the understanding that I need to change my addiction.
• the knowledge found here at SoberRecovery.

Today I am thankful for...

• This day, because every day above ground is a good day.
• My family, because they love me.
• My job, because it supports my existence.
• My home, my car, my self-conviction, my self-discovery, my determination to beat this merry-go-round, rollercoaster ride of self medication and self destruction.

Today I am blessed by Jesus because he cares for me and wants me back in the fold. I am blessed by the Holy Spirit that brought me here to SR to provide the support that has been lacking in my recovery. I am blessed by Father God because he is the great I Am.

I am grateful for this journal. I will need this.

and for the meeting that I'll attend tonight

I am grateful for...
SR and the new life that I can already see for my future
For my joyful spirit in respects to my recovery.
For learning not to be ashamed of my addiction

Today I am grateful for....

My first AA meeting
For pressing on when I felt uncertain
For knowing that God had a purpose for me at that moment.
For taking it slowly without expectation
For the reward of acceptance

Today I am thankful for....

Another sober day
My children and their personalities
For all the blessings, especially the small ones, that are coming into clearer focus.
Getting the AA Big Book
Getting my 24 hour coin
For seeing my sisters posting on this site along with mine!

Thank you Father God for still loving me and clearing the path before I get there! And thank you for your son, Jesus.
