Today I am grateful for.......
Today I am grateful for so much
1) Finding this forum
2) Finding myself again
3)Today my husband has 48 hours sober it may not last but for today I am grateful
4) My children they are a true blessing.
5) Hearing stories of all who have sober time. Even ONE day sober is something to be proud of.
6) That so many people have forgiven me for all the pain and suffering that my addiction caused them.
7) That I have a roof over my head and food in the kitchen.
8) That I have come to realise that no matter what God loves me for me and that in HIS eyes I am perfect and that is all that matters.

Today I am grateful for:
1) The wisdom in knowing that I have choices. I can either drink and do drugs or I can do recovery. I chose recovery.
2) having such beautiful children. There are people in the world who will never know this joy.
3) having the ability to read and write this post. there are by far too many who can do neither.
4) having people in my life who never gave up on me. Even though I had given up on myself.
5) learning to love myself. Without this I know that getting and staying sober would be almost impossible for me.

2) my grandfather in law getting out of the hospital
3) my husband having 4 days sober and acting as if he rally wants it

6) the fact that I know that people love me

1) my husband having 7 days sober
2) modern medicine my daughter has a staph infection
3)myself being sober
4) my higher power for being so loving and forgiving
5) my children
6) pringles
7)chocolate chip cookies
8) Dr Pepper

I am grateful for
1) my daughter feeling better
2) my health
3) my sanity
4) my recovery
5) my husband being clean for 8 days
6) the fact that I have so much when so many have not enough
7) my books
8) me learning how to love myself
9) air conditioning(heat index was 105 with 100% humidity
10) everyone here who loves and supports without hesitation or judgement

2) my children
3) my in laws who are wonderful people
4) the birds
5) thuderstorms in the middle of the night
6) the fact that I can get up and walk whenever I want to
7) that I can see everything clearly without the haze of drugs and drink clouding the beautiful view
8) that God has given me a second third and even a 4 chance
9) I am grateful today most of all just to be alive

today it is hard to do a grateful list as my husband is MIA and a crack addict.however
1) my children
2) my will power because without it I would be lost to my own addiction at this moment

3) it didn't rain( we had a concert to go to

I haven't done a list in awhile sorry. I can tell it in how I act to.
1) I am grateful that my septic system ahs been fixed. YEE HAW!!!!!!!!!!!!! no more crap on the floor. This is what I woke up to at 2 in the morning.
2) The fact that it is raining. We might be able to have fireworks after all.
3) My AH has 6 days clean at the moment
4) MY wonderful beautiful children
5) Skissy. You are beautiful and you will make it. Thank you for your hand in friendship.
6) To this board for saving my sanity and helping keep me sober
7) God Almighty who keeps on loving me no matter what
8) And quite truthfully I am grateful for me. The past present and future. Without the past I would not be who I am and without the future I would have nothing to strive for.

wallowing in self pity no more
I have been allowing myself to feel sorry for all tha has been here lately and damnit I refuse to do it anymore.
Today I am grateful for :
1) my 3 beautiful kids
2) my being able to say I have 5 years sober and am still sober through all the crap that has gone on in my life for the past 2 years
3) the birds who are singing at my window. They remind me how beautiful the world can be
4) This forum and everyone who has helped to keep me sane
