Grateful for The Light
Tonight I am grateful for the small town where I live and the amazing kindness of the people here. I'm grateful for a little girl named Sarah who has the face of an angel and taught me about what is important in life.
Tonight I am grateful for hope.
Tonight I am grateful for hope.
I'm grateful tonight for the quiet after a hectic day, and the snow that is actually pretty on the trees (but not on the road). I'm grateful that I feel at peace today and blessed more than I ever dreamed possible.
I'm grateful for a beautiful world and the clarity of vision to see it now.

Tonight I am grateful for choices, and for the light that makes the path clear.
I am grateful that sometimes life just takes me to where I am supposed to be and that I can trust that wherever that is will be a good place.

Tonight I am grateful that the holidays are almost over and that they were actually quite happy this year.
I'm grateful for a new year and new chapter ahead of me, and a light to guide my way.
And I am grateful for funny little smileys that just make me laugh

Tonight I am grateful for peace. I am grateful for all the light that has shone on me this month, for the clarity to make some decisions about taking care of me and for the opportunities before me.
I'm grateful for good friends, love and good health. I'm grateful for life.

Tonight I am grateful for all the good things that are falling in place in my life, and for the good timing of opportunities and options.
I'm grateful for the warmest January in history here, and that I am almost another month closer to spring flowers.

Today I am grateful for the freedom of choice, for a road ahead that is filled with opporunity and for so much light in my life to show me the way.
It's a beautiful day, filled with sunshine and peace. I am grateful.

I am grateful tonight for all the good things that have come into my life, for unexpected changes that have turned out to be blessings, and for the peace in my heart. Life is good.
Reading this thread for the first time, I was struck by the beauty of the quote:
Sometimes our light goes out, but it is blown
back into flame by an encounter with another
person. Each one of us owes deepest thanks
to those who have rekindled this inner light."
(Albert Schweitzer)
This Valentine's Day, 2/14/2006, I made up an Emergency Kit for Co-Dependents In Love and gave it to my (now ex AH). A bag with a poem listing many tiny items tucked inside. One of the tiny items was a little white candle.
A candle; because there are times when you are the only light a person sees
Thanks Ann. For everything.

Tonight I am grateful for the privilege of sharing the friendship of Trish, for all the light she brought into my world, for the kindness, support, love and beauty she gave me each day, treasures that will remain in my heart forever.
Thank you for your light, Trish. God bless you and wrap his arms around you and give you peace. I love you dear friend.

I am grateful today for another sunny spring day, and that my preparation to move is almost done. I am grateful for a lovely new place to move into, and for all the gifts in my life.
Just for today I will remember to enjoy each moment and take time to smell the roses along the path.

I am filled with gratitude today for all the good things life has given me, for peace in my heart and for all the beauty that each day brings.
As I looked over the water at sunrise this morning and listened to the birds and the call of the loons, I was grateful for my sight, for my hearing, for my sense of awe just watching nature awaken to another day.
Life is beautiful and I am grateful.

Tonight I am grateful for wildflowers and ducks and a silly dog named Lucy, and for a sunset that shines over the lake and stars just waiting to take their place outside my bedroom window.
I am grateful for friends that make me laugh, and who love me even on my bad days.
I am grateful for Mama Moose's apple pie that is made and waiting for "the girls" to arrive at the island.
And most of all I am grateful for every person who has been there for me on this very long but beautiful journey of recovery. I am truly blessed.
