i am grateful for another day without drugs/alcohol
i am grateful for an old friend that i can spend time with now that i am sober
i am grateful that i don't have to be hurt anymore by my ex.boyriend who is mean and makes me feel bad about myself and makes me feel like i need him.
i am grateful for the strength i have found with God.
i am grateful for anyone who reads this and understands.

I'm thankful for a new life today, 3 yrs ago i was headed nowhere fast, i ended up in jail with many legal issues to deal with..i had been a nurse since 1995 and lost my license due to all my legal trouble along with alcohol/drug addiction...that was the "bottom" i had been waiting to hit...it wasn't easy but i mangaged to make some changes in my life...with the help of God and good people who cared...i celebrated 3 yrs on April 9th...got my nursing license back on the 13th...it's been a long time since i was able to work as a nurse...but worth the wait...if i had never made the mistakes did or gotten into the trouble i did...im sure i wouldnt be here where im at today...healthy, happy, and truely blessed...
