I'm finding that even small everyday things remind us of how blessed we are.

While running errands the other day I thought "Let me call my girlfriend, and see if she needs groceries or wants to tag along". Don't have a cell yet so I went to the phone booth.

What a gift to use a phone, and not have to be waiting on someone to con money from or hook up with to cop or wait for a callback fro hours in the cold or panic that the person is somewhere without me. Crazy stuff.

Just a tiny thing, but it meant the world to me. I am grateful.

Best part is I had fifty cents to use the phone. I used to travel miles just to find one that only took 35 cents.

I have to say this right OUT LOUD>>>>> I am so Thankful, that the man who was in the car I smashed on Jan. 24,05...is alive...Still in the hospital, but will be ok..with total recovery...I would give anything..to talk to him, tell him how sorry I am..wish he knew the "hell" I am going through...would maybe make him feel better, or at least understand...believe me..death would be eaZier for me at this point, but selfish..and I've had plenty of practice at that...
by the way NODOPE!!!~~~they don't have pay phones in jail...
